when i heard that phrase when i was younger i though, “that doesn’t sound real appetizing….you just put honey in milk….doesn’t sound that good.”
but i think more than liking tea or coffee (i don’t really drink coffee…but for example) i am really a milk and honey drinker. i have had some fancy coffee drinks before and thought…. “this is good. but it would be a lot better without the coffee”
most tea here is served half milk, half water, tea, maybe some ginger or cardamum and sugar.
more than once i have been served warm milk with sugar. kind of a warm evening drink.

i do like tea…but its way better with milk and sugar…in my opinon
so i guess a land flowing with milk and honey does sound pretty good. you just need to heat that combination up before you drink it.
